Mechanical Project Manager

NRL is working with a Tier 1 M&E Contractor who is looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to join their team to support an exciting new MOD project in Newmarket. The focus of this role is to lead the team in delivering a multi-disciplined project throughout its lifecycle, including pre-construction, and supervising the operational project team on site to ensure all activities meet programme, cost, safety, and quality objectives.

Key Accountabilities include:

• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget to agreed standards, with effective management of project costs.
• Identifying risks and implementing mitigation measures.
• Managing staff performance by defining clear roles and responsibilities.
• Prioritizing Health & Safety and Zero Harm across all activities.
• Managing and supervising sub-contractors.
• Attending and contributing to design team meetings.
• Overseeing commissioning and ensuring a smooth handover.

Essential Skills and Certifications:

• SMSTS
• CSCS
