Job Description
We are seeking individuals with well-rounded knowledge of building services systems and who has worked in a consultancy role on international projects before.
JOB ROLEWe have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary engineering company in Dublin. The position would suit a motivated and adaptable individual looking to progress their career in a progressive and innovative design consultancy.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE- Strong technical ability and good understanding of current engineering standards (Building Regulations, CIBSE/BSRIA Guides, IS / EN Standards).
- Experience in the design and specification of mechanical / building services systems (drainage, water services, heating, cooling, ventilation and controls).
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of an engineering team.
- Minimum Third level degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
- Experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD and Navisworks.
- Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- 3 years+ experience in a similar role.
- Engineering design and management of tasks on projects as part of an integrated project team.
- Design and specification of mechanical engineering solutions to current regulations and design standards.
- Working directly with clients to define project requirements and develop technical solutions.
- Working as part of a project design team.
- Pre-construction engineering activities including coordination of services and production of information (tender drawings, schematics, specifications and equipment details).
- Monitoring and management of projects during construction including site inspections, technical submittals and RFI's.
- Experience working closely with senior Staff Managers / Directors.
