Mechanical designer

AGAP2 is a European engineering and operational consulting group, part of the MoOngy Group.

Role Description:

We are looking for a Mechanical Designer for a project in the space sector, specialized in the design and development of complex mechanical and electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and prototyping of space mechanisms, structures, and ground support equipment;
• Structural and thermal analysis using FEA;
• Preparation of technical documentation (2D drawings, reports);
• Participation in assembly, integration, and test (AIT) activities.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or related fields;
• Autonomous experience in mechanical design;
• CAD knowledge (preferably Autodesk Inventor);
• Ability to perform FEA analysis (ANSYS is a plus);
• Basic knowledge of space-applied physics (vibrations, heat transfer, etc.);
• Fluent English;
• Operational autonomy and a team-oriented attitude.
