Duties

• Assist in the development of mechanical designs, drawings, and 3D models under guidance to meet project requirements and standards.
• Collaborate with team members to support the integration of mechanical systems into project designs.
• Perform basic calculations and support simulations to help optimize system performance and efficiency.
• Contribute to the preparation and review of technical documentation to ensure alignment with codes and standards.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and site inspections to learn and contribute to quality and safety outcomes.

Requirements

• Hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Must have 3+ years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer with an Irish consultancy (local knowledge essential for the role).
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required, and experience with Revit is a plus.

• Basic salary circa €50K to €60K - DOE
