Mechanical Contracts Manager

Our client, a leading and rapidly expanding building services contractor, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to join their Dublin-based team. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile, large-scale project while working closely with senior leadership.

Reporting directly to the Construction Director, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining exceptional stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage project cost plans and budgets
• Lead and coordinate multiple project teams to ensure successful contract delivery
• Oversee subcontractor performance, quality assurance, and compliance standards
• Ensure full adherence to current Health & Safety legislation
• Support commercial teams in managing contract costs, variations, and financial reporting
• Identify and mitigate programme risks, working closely with design teams to maintain milestones
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
• Oversee planning and scheduling activities to ensure programme accuracy
• Manage material procurement schedules aligned with project timelines

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
• 10+ years' experience within construction or a related industry
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated success delivering projects on time and within budget
• Strong commercial awareness and cost control experience
• Proficient in MS Office and project planning tools
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong leadership ability with a proactive and results-driven approach
