We are seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Coordinator to join a data centre project team on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating M&E services across the project lifecycle, ensuring delivery aligns with programme, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate and manage all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) aspects of data centre construction projects
- Liaise with design teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of M&E services
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and design documentation to identify potential issues or clashes
- Monitor installation works to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and health & safety requirements
- Track project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and senior stakeholders
- Attend and contribute to project meetings, including coordination and progress meetings
- Ensure quality control throughout installation and commissioning phases
- Support commissioning activities and handover documentation processes
- Assist in resolving technical issues on site in a timely manner
- Proven experience as an M&E Coordinator
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in large-scale construction or manufacturing environments
- Experience working on complex MEP installations and coordinating multiple subcontractors
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with project management tools and reporting processes
