Maximo Consultant II (Security Clearance Required)

Position Summary

The Maximo Consultant II joining our team will align with business and IT stakeholders to translate business issues and requirements into best practice processes, blueprints, and functional specifications. This role is responsible for working on complex challenges to ensure deliverable quality and effective communication between technical implementation teams while advising clients on their asset management or EAM system maturity.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance throughout the lifecycle of a project, including development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Configure and customize client solutions using workflow knowledge, system configuration, and customizations to develop asset management technical solutions.
• Deliver multiple projects that support complex and demanding requirements, ensuring timescales are met.
• Facilitate and document system design workshops, process reengineering workshops, and produce project and system documentation such as process maps, system requirements, data standards, and training materials.
• Advocate for the end user within the project delivery team.
• Coordinate data modelling and data collection activities.
• Oversee development, testing, and deployment of technical solutions.
• Manage smaller work packages as assigned by the Consultant Team Lead.
• Provide client support and training.
• Deliver high quality, value added results for both client and internal projects.
• Mentor and guide junior members of the team.
• Provide 30% travel within EMEA as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Professional software accreditations such as IBM Maximo professional certifications.
• 3+ years of experience delivering projects in Maximo across multiple industries.
• Experience providing support to customers or end users.
• Knowledge or experience with Project Methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is advantageous.
• Understanding of databases (DB2, Oracle, MSSQL) and BIRT reporting.
• Familiarity with IT systems and cloud hosting platforms (AWS, Azure).
• UK Security Clearance (SC) is required; candidates holding or who have previously held SC Clearance will be prioritised.
