Job Description

Maximo Consultant - £550 per day - Outside IR35 - Hybrid 2 days on site in Manchester or Watford - 12 Month initial contract.

We are seeking an experienced Maximo Consultant to support the ongoing delivery and enhancement of our asset management capabilities using the latest IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS). This is a 12-month contract with the potential for extension, offering a hybrid working model with two days a week required in either our Watford WD24 4WW or Manchester M34 2GP office.

This role is ideally suited to someone with a strong functional background in Maximo, particularly MAS, and a proven track record of managing end-to-end business processes. Candidates with a Business Analyst background and in-depth Maximo experience will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise on the latest Maximo Application Suite (MAS).
  • Design and support functional solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into system functionality.
  • Lead or contribute to the full project life cycle - from requirement gathering and functional design through to testing and deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and operation of Maximo with related systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues independently.
  • Support change management and training activities where required.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Extensive hands-on experience with IBM Maximo, particularly the latest Maximo Application Suite (MAS).
  • Proven capability in functional design and process mapping.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end asset management or work management processes.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Maximo Functional Consultant or Business Analyst with relevant domain knowledge.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Working Pattern

  • 2 days per week on-site at either Watford or Manchester office.
  • 3 days remote working per week.
