About the Role

Veritas Education is working in partnership with a thriving secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a motivated and dedicated Maths Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting from October Half Term 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive Maths department committed to delivering high-quality teaching and raising student attainment. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them develop confidence and proficiency in Mathematics.

Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Differentiate learning to support students of all abilities
• Monitor, assess, and track student progress
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
• Support students in developing confidence and problem-solving skills
• Contribute to departmental planning and school-wide initiatives
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school setting
• Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Maths
• Possesses excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Is committed to raising attainment and supporting student success
• Works effectively as part of a team
• ECTs are encouraged to apply
