Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (MPS/UPS)
Contract Type: Full Time - Permanent

Vision for Education are working in partnership with a successful secondary school in the East Riding to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated teacher to join a supportive and ambitious Mathematics department within a well-established school environment. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

The successful candidate will initially work through Vision for Education on a supply basis before transitioning onto a permanent contract directly with the school.

The Role

The school is seeking a passionate Maths Teacher who can:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Mathematics lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to support all learners
• Inspire students and promote a positive attitude towards Mathematics
• Assess, monitor and support student progress effectively
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
• Contribute positively to the wider school community and department

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Maths Teacher, you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school setting
• Be confident delivering Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Possess excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Be committed to improving outcomes for young people
