Aspire People are working closely with a well-regarded secondary school in Monmouthshire to recruit a dedicated Maths Teacher for a long-term placement starting in September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic practitioner to join a supportive school that genuinely values its staff.

The school has a strong track record of retaining high-quality teachers, and for the right candidate there is potential for continuous work beyond the initial long-term placement.

The role:

• Teaching Maths across Key Stages (KS3 KS4, with KS5 desirable but not essential)
• Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
• Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
• Maintaining strong classroom behaviour and positive learning environments
• Working collaboratively with the Maths department and wider school team

The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have recent experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school
• Be confident in behaviour management and classroom organisation
• Be reliable, professional, and committed to pupil progress
• Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS registered on the update service
