About the RoleWe are looking for a passionate and dedicated Maths Lecturer to support students in a college setting. This role involves delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons to learners studying GCSE Maths and Functional Skills Maths, helping them develop confidence and achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Maths (GCSE and Functional Skills).
- Teach core mathematical skills including number, algebra, geometry, and statistics.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to support different learning styles and abilities.
- Support students resitting GCSE Maths to improve their grades and confidence.
- Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation.
- Able to understand the needs of students and support them in achieving their potential.
- Experience teaching Maths within a Further Education, Secondary School, or Adult Learning setting.
- Strong subject knowledge of GCSE and/or Functional Skills Maths.
- Patient, adaptable, and resilient.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and contribute to a supportive teaching environment.
