Maths Cover Supervisor - Specialist SEN Provision

Location: Gateshead

Position: Full-Time

Protocol Education is recruiting a Maths Cover Supervisor for a specialist SEN provision in Gateshead.

This role would suit a maths tutor or graduate looking to gain hands on experience in a school environment while working with small classes of just 3-4 pupils.

What you'll be doing:

  • Delivering structured maths lessons and tutoring sessions

  • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs

  • Supervising classes when the teacher is absent

  • Helping students develop core numeracy skills

  • Working closely with support staff to ensure pupils succeed

What we're looking for:

  • Good basic maths knowledge

  • Experience tutoring or supporting maths learning

  • Confidence leading small groups

  • A patient and supportive approach
