Job Title: Mathematics Teacher
Location: Pattison School, Coventry
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Permanent Term Time Only

About the RoleYou will:
- Take responsibility for the planning, delivery and development of mathematics across the senior school.
- Secure high standards of teaching, learning and assessment in line with school policies and procedures.
- As the lead specialist teacher of mathematics, the postholder will work closely with senior leaders to drive standards, monitor progress and contribute to the school's wider improvement strategy.
- Help create a calm, safe, and structured environment that promotes confidence, independence, and learning.
We are looking for someone who:
- Strong subject knowledge and high-quality classroom practice
- Confidence to lead a subject area independently and take ownership of curriculum and outcomes
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Strong assessment, tracking and organisational skills
- Effective communication skills with pupils, parents and colleagues
- Ability to reflect on practice and implement positive change
- Experience of teaching mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4
- Experience of preparing pupils for GCSE Mathematics
- Evidence of securing good pupil progress and examination outcome
- A good honours degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
