Marketing Strategy Senior Principal

Overview

As our Marketing Strategy Senior Principal, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and enabling the success of our global marketing strategy. Acting as a senior partner to the Director of Marketing Strategy and Planning, you will help define strategic direction, drive alignment across teams and functions, and lead key cross-functional initiatives that power marketing's impact on growth.

You'll bring structure, clarity, and forward momentum to our most important strategic priorities, while also supporting core strategic planning across the marketing organization. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and an enabler for the broader Strategy, Operations, and Insights teams.

Location: Hybrid- 3 days a week from our Amsterdam office & 2 days working from home

Reporting to: Director, Global Marketing Strategy & Planning

These are some of the key components to the position

• Co-lead the development, articulation, and evolution of the global marketing strategy and its annual planning cycle, in close collaboration with the Segment teams and with Marketing Operations
• Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, frameworks, and initiatives
• Drive alignment across central and regional marketing teams to ensure a cohesive marketing agenda
• Support the Director of Global Marketing Strategy with strategic prioritization, leadership team preparation, and executive storytelling
• Manage select strategic initiatives/workstreams where additional leadership capacity is required

What will you bring to the team?

• Extensive experience in marketing strategy, consulting, business planning, or operations roles
• Strong strategic thinking skills and the ability to distill complexity into clear, actionable recommendations
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience working with senior executives
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives with tangible business impact
• Structured thinker with a bias for action and a collaborative mindset
• Prior experience in both strategy and operational execution is a plus
