About the company

The organisation is a specialist manufacturer of equipment and systems for the food processing industry, serving manufacturers in the UK and around the world. It combines engineering and process expertise to develop solutions that help customers improve efficiency, reduce downtime and achieve reliable operational results.

Alongside its manufacturing capabilities, the business provides access to product development facilities where customers can test recipes, develop products and refine processes with expert support. Its work is guided by a focus on practical innovation and helping customers succeed in their operations. The Marketing Manager will support this work by building awareness of the organisation and its wider group, and by communicating the value of its products and expertise to prospective and existing customers.

Marketing Manager: What the job entails

This is a hands-on role responsible for delivering marketing activity across digital and print channels. Working closely with the Group Marketing Director, colleagues across the business and an outsourced digital marketing agency, the Marketing Manager will plan and coordinate campaigns that build brand awareness, generate enquiries and support sales.

The role spans content creation, website management, social media, email marketing and event organisation. You will write and proofread materials including blogs, case studies, press releases, brochures and presentations, while keeping website content and product information up to date.

You will also work with the agency on campaigns, search optimisation, website improvements and performance reporting, and coordinate photography and video content. Organising UK and overseas exhibitions-including logistics and pre- and post-event activity-is another key responsibility. You will collaborate with sales teams, colleagues and suppliers to deliver projects on time and within agreed budgets, maintaining accurate content and consistent branding across the group.

  • Excellent writing, proofreading and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.

  • Confidence working with agencies and suppliers; strong organisation and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel in the UK and overseas, including occasional overnight stays.
  • B2B marketing, CRM, SEO, analytics, creative tools or a relevant marketing qualification are desirable.
