The Marketing ManagerThe Marketing Manager will support Three's consumer brand vision for the future and will generate long-term growth through all marketing channels, whilst supporting short term trading targets through performance marketing. The role supports overall conversion and sales targets. These will include Billpay Acquisition targets, campaign metrics and brand tracking metrics such as creative performance scores and brand health metrics. Part of this role includes brand guardianship which involves supporting all departments in ensuring the brand is consistent across all internal and external communications. This role reports to the Head of Marketing Communications in the Brand, PR and Sponsorship function.
What else it involves
- Responsible for Marketing Campaign Planning and implementation: Create and set out Three s marketing campaigns for specific products or channels, working within the Consumer Tribe and squads and with Three's agency partners in line with overall brand positioning and marketing strategy.
- Brand Management: Ensure that all marketing activity within remit is in line with overall marketing strategy and plan, delivering a compelling, authentic and relevant customer story across relevant segments, growing the Three brand in the consumer space.
- Campaign Management: Responsible for media selection; media planning; agency briefing and agency management for specific campaigns, including advertising production and post-campaign evaluation across all paid for media channels.
- Agency management: Manage day to day relationships with creative and media agencies, setting clear briefs, ensuring strategic alignment with brand objectives, and driving high-quality, on-time campaign delivery across all channels.
- Budget Management: Responsible for the management of a marketing budget for campaigns that fall within the role.
- Stakeholder Management: Contribute at a senior level in the organisation, including working alongside the wider Consumer tribe, ensuring input and buy-in to the Marketing strategy and activities. This role also includes working with manufacturing partners for the creation and execution of marketing campaigns.
- People management: Responsible for the support, coaching and mentoring of one direct report.
- Strong marketing/advertising experience; experience in leading highly effective through-the-line marketing campaigns, including TV campaign production.
- A high-energy, self-driven individual who has the ambition to produce work to a global standard
- Management of a significant marketing budget in a controlled and tightly governed budgetary environment.
- Ability to develop great relationships and work cross functionally
- Strategic thinker who relies on analysis and data to support decision making
- Ability to project manage to deliver campaigns on time & on budget
- Demonstrable drive for results within a pressurised environment to strict timelines
- Commercial acumen
- A huge passion for brands and marketing
- Proven leadership and cross functional teamworking skills with the ability to develop and motivate within a high-performance culture.
- A proven ability to understand your people and ensure through inspirational and effective leadership that you lead them to success, both on an individual and company basis
- Experience of working in an enterprise agile organisation structure would be beneficial
- Multi-category experience (e.g. Telcos/Utilities/FMCG)
