Marketing Cloud Technical Architect (freelance)

The client is seeking an experienced Marketing Cloud Technical Architect with a primary focus on Marketing Cloud Personalisation. The role involves leading architecture design, ensuring technical quality, and integrating Personalisation with MCE and Data Cloud across the Salesforce ecosystem.

Project information:

• Duration: 1 year to begin with
• Work Location: Arnhem

Responsibilities:

• Architect and oversee Marketing Cloud Personalisation solutions across journeys, segmentation, and real-time interaction frameworks
• Ensure seamless integration between Personalisation, Marketing Cloud Engagement (MCE), and Data Cloud (DC)
• Define and maintain the technical architecture, data models, and cross-cloud orchestration standards
• Collaborate with marketing, data, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, enterprise-grade solutions
• Provide architectural governance, best practices, and support throughout the full engagement following the December handover
• Ensure alignment with security and compliance standards, including police clearance requirements

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on expertise in Marketing Cloud Personalisation (core competency)
• Proven experience with Marketing Cloud Engagement and Data Cloud architecture
• Demonstrated ability to design end-to-end marketing ecosystem architectures in complex environments
• Strong understanding of data integration, customer data models, and real-time personalisation frameworks
• Experience working in hybrid enterprise settings and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams
• Ability to commit to weekly onsite presence in Arnhem
