Marketing & Events Coordinator (Maternity Cover)

Contract: Fixed-term maternity cover (June - December 2026)

Job Overview:

The Marketing & Events Coordinator (Maternity Cover) will support the day-to-day execution of marketing operations across Ireland. This role focuses on general marketing administration, event activation and logistics, trade communications (including WhatsApp Channel and e-zines), merchandise coordination, and cross-functional coordination with internal teams and brand partners.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth delivery of events, consistent trade communication, and efficient marketing operations, while supporting collaboration across Connolly's RED MILLS, Foran Equine, and Carr & Day & Martin.

Marketing Administration & Coordination
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the marketing team across Ireland
  • Coordinate marketing schedules, approvals, and internal workflows
  • Maintain organised records of campaigns, events, assets, and supplier communications
  • Support the wider marketing team with ad hoc project coordination and reporting
Event Activation & Logistics
  • Support planning and delivery of equine events, trade shows, and activations
  • Coordinate event logistics including booking, supplier coordination, shipping, and on-site requirements
  • Assist with set-up and execution of on-site activations, ensuring brand consistency
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth event delivery
  • Support post-event wrap-up including stock reconciliation, feedback collection, and reporting
Trade Communications (WhatsApp Channel & E-zines)
  • Create and schedule trade communications via WhatsApp Channel, ensuring timely and relevant updates
  • Assist in the creation and distribution of e-zines and digital trade updates
  • Coordinate content collection from internal teams and ensure messaging alignment across brands
  • Monitor engagement and support improvements in communication effectiveness
  • Monitor merchandise stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Process internal and external merchandise requests in a timely manner
  • Coordinate packing and dispatch of merchandise for events, sponsorships, and customer relationship activities
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure appropriate allocation of branded materials across markets
  • Support stock reconciliation following events and maintain organised storage systems
Cross-Brand Collaboration & Event Support
  • Work closely with the Foran Equine and Carr & Day & Martin teams on shared event activity
  • Support joint brand activations under aligned campaign themes and sponsorships
  • Ensure consistent coordination across multi-brand event requirements
  • Assist with shared merchandising and event materials where required
General Support & Reporting
  • Provide basic reporting on event attendance, engagement, and trade communication performance
  • Support collation of marketing activity updates for internal meetingsAssist with tracking key marketing deliverables and timelines
  • Carry out additional administrative and coordination tasks as required by the marketing team
Key Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in events, or administrative support
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience supporting events, logistics, or trade marketing activity
  • Familiarity with digital communication tools (email platforms, WhatsApp Business, CMS systems an advantage)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams and brands
  • Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently when required
  • Experience in the equine or agricultural sectors
  • Exposure to multi-brand or international marketing environments
  • Basic understanding of email marketing or digital content coordination
