Marketing Analytics Lead

Fully Remote

Up to £77,000

THE COMPANY:

This fast-growing online marketplace-recently valued at $100M-is seeking a Marketing Analytics Lead to drive the optimisation of marketing efforts across all digital channels. As the business continues to scale, this is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the marketing analytics function and build something from the ground up. You'll have the autonomy to shape strategy, guide performance, and influence key business decisions in a data-first environment.

THE ROLE:

As Marketing Analytics Lead, you'll be the go-to expert for everything related to marketing performance and optimisation. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll lead efforts in attribution, media mix modelling, and post-campaign analytics, ensuring marketing spend is efficient and effective. You'll start by managing a small team of two analysts, with scope to grow the team further as the function matures.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading analysis across paid and organic channels to assess performance and uncover growth opportunities
  • Developing and refining attribution models to better understand marketing impact across touchpoints
  • Running post-campaign analyses to drive insights and inform future strategy
  • Building MMM models to inform long-term planning and investment decisions
  • Partnering with marketing, product, and leadership to align analytics with business goals
  • Using SQL and Python to extract, manipulate, and analyse large datasets
  • Supporting the development of a high-performing analytics function within the business

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Proven experience in marketing analytics, ideally in a fast-paced digital or eCommerce setting
  • Strong skills in post-campaign analysis, attribution modelling, and MMM
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for hands-on data analysis
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Line management experience is a plus, but not essential-what matters most is your leadership mindset and ability to take ownership

THE BENEFITS:

  • Salary: £70,000-£80,000 (DOE)
  • Bonus and equity
  • Fully remote within the UK
  • High-impact, high-autonomy role in a rapidly scaling business
  • Opportunity to shape and grow a marketing analytics function from the ground up
