DescriptionAs Market Coach, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the performance of our quick service restaurants across the Midlands. You'll lead through others, coach and develop Area Coaches, and make sure our restaurants consistently deliver an exceptional experience for our guests and our people.
This is a senior operational leadership role where you'll have full accountability for the financial, operational and people performance of your market. You'll turn our QSR strategy into action, identify opportunities for growth and build the capability needed to deliver long-term success.
Working closely with our QSR leadership team and restaurant teams, you'll be an ambassador for our QSR division, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensuring our values and strategic priorities come to life across the market.
What You Will Do In This Splendid RoleGuest experience
- Embed a guest-first mindset across the market, ensuring ACs and RGMs deliver high standards across product quality, service, cleanliness, speed and accuracy.
- Use KFC Listens and Success Routines to identify opportunities, build action plans and drive continuous improvement.
- Coach ACs to solve problems that improve both guest satisfaction and profitability.
Team
- Lead, coach and develop Area Coaches, including performance management, in partnership with People and senior leadership.
- Own the training, certification and development of restaurant management teams, including RGM, ARGM and Team Leaders.
- Work with HRBP to deliver the bench plan, strengthen succession and ensure key vacancies are filled.
Financial performance
- Hold full P&L responsibility for the market, driving sales and managing product, labour and other controllable costs.
- Set market strategy and manage the overall budget, approving operating expenditure within agreed guidelines.
- Use commercial insight to balance financial performance with guest and people priorities.
Stakeholders & governance
- Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and QSR and Splendid Hospitality Group policies, audits and operational routines.
- Lead Period Business Reviews and Market Meetings, using performance insight to agree priorities and actions.
- Build strong relationships across Operations and wider stakeholders, representing the QSR division and supporting additional strategic projects.
