Job Description
A leader in the life sciences sector is seeking a Manufacturing Operator II to join their production team on a 12-month contract basis. Operating from a modern manufacturing facility in Warrington, the organisation supports the development and delivery of products that play a vital role in improving health outcomes worldwide.
Your new roleAs a Manufacturing Operator II, you will be responsible for supporting packaging and production activities within a regulated manufacturing environment. Your duties will include:
- Assembly of packaging components including boxes, inserts and labels
- Ensuring products are packaged accurately and securely in line with SOPs
- Applying correct product and regulatory labels
- Carrying out quality checks and inspections to ensure compliance with established standards
- Identifying defects, errors or inconsistencies and escalating where required
- Working in line with health, safety and GMP requirements
- Wearing appropriate PPE and completing gowning and de-gowning procedures
- Supporting the wider manufacturing team to ensure production targets are met
- High School Diploma, Secondary Education, Advanced Certificate or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, production, operations, laboratory or a related environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work instructions
- Experience within a cGMP environment would be advantageous
- Experience working in a clean room environment would be beneficial
- Experience handling hazardous materials would be desirable
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to work
