Job Title: Manufacturing / Process Engineer - 9-Month Fixed Term Contract
Location: On-site (with occasional travel to Waltham Cross)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Fixed Term (9 months)
Salary: £55,000 pro rata
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, early Friday finish
Travel: 10% (hire car provided)
Reports To: Quality and Engineering Manager
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing / Process Engineer with a strong operational and engineering background to join our team on a 9-month fixed-term contract. This role is fully on-site and will play a key part in supporting day-to-day manufacturing activities while driving continuous improvement across our processes.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role supporting both current production and new product introduction (NPI), including environmental initiatives and high-impact engineering projects.
Take ownership and prioritise multiple streams of work to align with business goals.
Develop, optimise, and implement robust manufacturing processes that deliver consistent, repeatable results.
Provide technical support and root cause analysis to resolve production issues.
Identify and deliver process improvements to reduce scrap, rework, and inefficiencies.
Collaborate closely with production operators, quality teams, and process technicians to drive operational excellence.

Proven experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role, ideally within a high-spec, regulated environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Experience with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
Ability to work under pressure in an intense and dynamic setting.
Flexibility to travel ( 10%) to other sites (e.g., Waltham Cross).
