- Independentlymanage the end-to-end execution of JetFuel and Biofuel (incl. SAF, HVO) cargoes .
- Coordinate seagoing vessel operations including nominations, laycan management and terminal scheduling.
- Manage inland barge logistics ,including Rhine river movements to inland terminals and airports.
- Coordinatepipeline (including CEPS where applicable) and other aviation fuel distributionsystems for inland airport supply.
- Liaisewith terminals, ship owners, bargeoperators, surveyors and shipping agents to ensure smooth cargomovements.
- Monitorcargo loading/discharge and proactively resolve operational issues to minimisedelays.
- Workclosely with traders to develop optimallogistics strategies for cargo movements and storage.
- Provide operational insights on ARA logisticsconstraints , including tank availability, barge capacity and portscheduling.
- Advisetraders on logistical feasibility,operational risks and cost optimisation .
- Identifyand implement opportunities to improve cargoscheduling, tank utilisation and supply chain efficiency .
- Manage EU import procedures for seabornecargoes arriving in ARA ports .
- Coordinatewith customs brokers and terminals to ensure proper customs clearance and documentation.
- Overseedocumentation related to customsdeclaration, bonded storage and excise duty suspension .
- Ensurecompliance with EU customs andregulatory requirements .
- Coordinatewith ARA storage terminals regarding tank operation, blending and stock transfers.
- Monitorand reconcile inventory levels andstock positions .
- Ensureefficient coordination between importcargoes, storage and downstream deliveries .
- Implementcargo assurance procedures for Jet A-1and biofuel, including blended SAF .
- Coordinatesampling, testing, and inspection with surveyors and laboratories.
- Manageoperational claims including demurrage, quality, and quantity disputes.
- Ensuretimely submission of demurrage documentation to avoid time-bar issues.
- Coordinatecargo insurance and support resolution of operational disputes with traders andlegal teams.
- Maintainoperational data within internal systems and support month-end stockreconciliation.
- Ensureproper documentation and audit trail for cargo movements and transactions.
- Providesupport in managing biofuel compliance and related documentation.
- Reviewoperational and logistical clauses in sales and purchase contracts to ensurefeasibility and alignment with deal terms.
- Coordinatewith legal teams on contract review to mitigate operational risks.
- Overseeinvoicing and transaction cost frameworks including freight, storage,inspection, and ancillary charges.
- Coordinatewith finance and counterparties to ensure accurate and timely settlement.
- Undertake such other duties, tasksor projects as may reasonably be assigned from time to time in line with thenature and seniority of the role.
- Degreelevel education preferred in Maritime, Business, Finance, or other quantitativedisciplines, but not essential where candidates have strong relevant experience.
- 7-10years experience in refined products or jet fuel operations.
- Stronghands-on end-to-end experience managing seagoing vessel cargoes and inlandbarge logistics.
- Provenexperience working within the ARA refined products trading hub.
- Experiencewith Rhine river barge logistics.
- Experiencewith EU import procedures and customs clearance.
