my client, a notable player in the highways sector, is currently seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis!
- Leading and managing a team of Quantity Surveyors to ensure effective commercial delivery across the contract
- Overseeing month-end processes, including cost and value reporting, and presenting key commercial information to senior management
- Maintaining and developing strong, collaborative relationships with clients, attending commercial and contract board meetings
- Reviewing and approving subcontractor payments, applications for payment, and ensuring timely issue resolution
- Analysing contract data and documentation to drive performance improvements and support strategic decision-making
- HNC/HND/BSc in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or a related discipline
- Experience in highways or infrastructure projects in a commercial capacity
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts, subcontractor management, and CVR processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with commercial systems
