We are supporting a highly confidential executive search within the process manufacturing industry. The business is seeking an experienced Managing Director - France to lead its local operations, drive performance, and continue fostering a culture of operational and leadership excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full P&L ownership, ensuring delivery of both operational and financial targets
• Oversight of Operations, Supply Chain (incl. Customer Service), Finance, and HR
• Local leadership engagement with Sales (solid-line to divisional function)
• Drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and a strong safety culture
• Strengthen employee engagement and embed values-based leadership
• Build and develop high-performing teams and organizational capabilities
• Ensure compliance with legal, financial, and group governance standards
• Champion best practices in leadership, health & safety, and customer experience
• Represent the business locally while fostering cross-functional collaboration across the wider group

Profile Sought:

• Master's degree in a relevant field
• Proven track record leading a business unit or site with P&L accountability
• Deep operational background, ideally within the process industry
• Strong track record in change management and company culture development
• Fluent in French and English; other languages beneficial
