About the RoleTeam Manager, Vendor Consultants Team - RBS AVS. As a Vendor Consultants Manager in Retail Business Services (RBS), you will shape and deliver on the strategy for managing Amazon vendors. The RBS team seeks a customer centric, driven, and creative people leader to join the team. You will lead a team of Vendor Consultants responsible for managing business growth for some of the most influential selling partners on Amazon, ensuring partner satisfaction through high service and operational standards. Your role will include building joint business plans, collaborating with partners to identify and execute operational improvement opportunities, interfacing internally with leaders from Retail and Vendor Services teams, and overseeing all operational aspects of the vendors' business with Amazon. You will also manage strategic and operational aspects of vendor relationships, conduct root cause analysis of issues and opportunities, and drive continuous improvement in customer experience. Finally, you will recruit, hire, and develop a high performing team across functions such as merchandising, buying, inventory management, finance, operations, and online marketing.
A Day in the Life- Lead a team of Vendor Consultants, prioritizing strategic initiatives and providing escalation support as needed.
- Measure success by the performance of internal teams on input metrics and the impact of vendors on creating a great customer experience.
- Identify, act on, and advise on ways to improve business input metrics that drive growth and enhance the end customer experience, collaborating with other Amazon programs and teams.
- Manage end to end goal setting for the team to align with organizational goals.
- Build relationships with stakeholders across the portfolio; proactively develop joint business plan action items and act as the point of escalation for issues, questions, and concerns.
- Act as a thought leader in defining success criteria and understanding the business needs of selling partners in a rapidly changing environment.
- Lead recruiting and hiring efforts across the direct team and broader organization.
- Manage stakeholder needs and monitor complexity through efficient resource allocation of Vendor Consultants.
- Analyze stakeholder satisfaction survey results, identify trends, establish improvement plans, and manage expectations with Vendor Consultants as appropriate.
- 6+ years of digital advertising and client facing roles with a focus on data analysis experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers.
- Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.
- 2+ years of mentoring, leading, and coaching experience.
