Connect to your opportunityThe role is a Manager within the Global Mobility team and involves leading the delivery of client services, developing teams and managing key client relationships.
Responsibilities- Advising and guiding clients on the planning and implications involved in international work arrangements.
- Managing relationships on client engagements and collaborating with senior team members to deliver high quality tax advice and services.
- Getting involved in wider advisory projects and client meetings, and managing a portfolio of personal income tax returns.
- Preparing non standard tax returns and client deliverables, reviewing the work of junior members, and conducting entry and exit consultations with mobile employees.
- Contributing to the development of junior team members through mentorship and guidance.
- Working with colleagues across service lines to deliver broader Global Workforce and Talent Mobility projects to clients.
- Contributing to the growth of the practice through active involvement in ongoing market building activities.
- Client focused and passionate about client relationships.
- Proactive in seeing work through to conclusion and enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team.
- ATT or equivalent qualified, or close to completion (consideration for candidates wishing to pursue further professional exams).
- Broad understanding of key relevant tax legislation, including the Statutory Residence Test and double tax treaties.
- Broad knowledge of typical UK employer compliance responsibilities and experience briefing clients on the implications of working internationally.
- Experience working within a Professional Service environment or in house team in an expatriate role or private client focus.
- Existing experience of working alongside and managing non UK based team members would be desirable.
