Manager (at the rank of Administrative Assistant II) in the School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 534638) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a good university degree with at least 5 years' work experience in the higher education sector or of a related field. They should be competent communicators with a strong sense of responsibility, and be able to keep their subordinates motivated to deliver quality work under tight deadlines. An excellent command of English and Chinese; a high level of interpersonal, organisational, time management and problem-solving skills; as well as an appropriate level of IT knowledge are essential. Advanced proficiency in Excel applications and/or experience in conducting professional examinations would be an advantage.

The appointees will provide administrative support for planning, developing, and delivering the assessment of students' performance in a professional degree programme. They will have to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders on assessment-related tasks before and after examinations, with a view to upholding professional standards, and at the same time offering student-centred services.
