If you're ready to elevate your career, read on. We're seeking Project Managers with proven experience in delivering technology solutions to join our Technology Transformation team. Day to day As our Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include: 
- Collaborating with Business Stakeholders to develop and review Business Cases, understanding project objectives and strategic goals.
- High-Level Planning: Developing high-level plans outlining project scope and strategic alignment, creating detailed Project Plans in Microsoft Project (MSP), identifying critical paths and milestones.
- Effective Project Delivery: Leading projects with clarity, setting performance expectations, and ensuring timely, within-budget completion.
- Team Coordination: Ensuring all relevant teams and individuals are involved and briefed appropriately, understanding their roles and delivery timelines.
- Methodology Adherence: Following VA Project Management methodology throughout the project lifecycle.
- Financial Management: Managing project budgets within tolerance levels.
- Managing Project RAIDs and working with stakeholders to develop effective resolution and mitigation plans.
- You will have an engineering Project Management background such as Automotive or Aviation.
- Do you hold a Project Management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, APMP, PMP)? Do you have demonstrable experience delivering complex integrated IT solutions, especially those involving legacy system integration with modern technology using SOA/APIs?
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of airline industry processes and technologies is advantageous but not essential.
- Technical Expertise: Experience in delivering technical solutions is preferred.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze, design, and optimize technical solutions to meet project objectives.
- Supplier Management: Experience managing third-party suppliers, external delivery partners, and offshore services.
- Communication Skills: Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders across the organization.
- Project Management Skills: Proficiency in MSP, financial management of budgets, and resource planning with clear outcomes.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
