Our Health team are looking for experienced Senior Consultants and Managers to join them. What you will be doing You could be involved in one or more of the following:
- Leading the definition and delivery of robust business cases, funding models and investment decisions for health transformation programmes, bringing judgement to shape commercially viable, evidence-led recommendations across national, regional and local health and care systems.
- Managing the co-design of target operating models, service blueprints and governance structures, working confidently with senior stakeholders to translate strategy into practical delivery plans and clear accountabilities.
- Leading workstreams within transformation programmes that improve patient outcomes, strengthen system performance and support frontline teams to deliver high-quality care, while coaching others and maintaining delivery momentum in complex environments.
- Bringing a strong commercial specialism to optimise operational, commercial and programme delivery processes across complex health environments, including NHS organisations, arm's length bodies and wider system partners.
- Applying practical digital, data, analytics and AI knowledge to help clients shape health data infrastructure, research services, digital health platforms and technology-enabled care, with a clear view of responsible adoption, benefits realisation and operational impact.
- Embedding relevant best practice from healthcare, life sciences, public sector and other regulated sectors, and using that insight to shape credible propositions, solve complex client challenges and support high-quality delivery.
- Shaping commercial strategies, procurements, partnerships and delivery plans that support innovation adoption, system-wide collaboration and value for taxpayers, including contributing to business case development and benefits-led investment decisions.
- Playing an active role in our health go-to-market activity, including bid management, proposition development, marketing initiatives and the development of commercially grounded offers that reflect client priorities and Baringa's wider digital, AI and transformation capabilities.
- Direct experience working in or with the UK health system, such as NHS England, NHS trusts, integrated care systems, arm's length bodies, health-focused government departments, life sciences organisations or health-focused consultancies.
- Understanding of current priorities across health and care, including system transformation, digital health, health data, clinical research, innovation adoption and the future of integrated care.
- Clear understanding of how the UK health ecosystem operates, including the relationship between national policy, NHS organisations, commissioners, providers, regulators, industry partners and patients.
- Experience working closely with operational, commercial, digital, data, policy or transformation teams in health, life sciences or similarly complex regulated environments.
- Experience leading structured change programmes or complex workstreams, including operating model design, programme mobilisation, portfolio management, service transformation, cost improvement, digital delivery or technology-enabled change, with the confidence to take ownership for quality, pace and outcomes.
- Strong project and programme management discipline, including planning, RAID, governance, stakeholder reporting, benefits tracking and delivery assurance, with the ability to manage client expectations, anticipate risks and keep teams focused on measurable impact.
- Comfortable leading in ambiguous, multi-stakeholder environments, using commercial judgement, health sector insight and practical digital, data and AI knowledge to shape responsible solutions that balance policy intent, operational reality, and measurable outcomes.
- Generous Annual Leave Policy: We recognise everyone needs a well-deserved break. We provide our employees with 5 weeks of annual leave, fully available at the start of each year. In addition to this, we have introduced our 5-Year Recharge benefit which allows all employees an additional 2 weeks of paid leave after 5 years continuous service.
- Flexible Working: We know that the 'ideal' work-life balance will vary from person to person and change at different stages of our working lives. To accommodate this, we have implemented a hybrid working policy and introduced more flexibility around taking unpaid leave.
- Corporate Responsibility Days: Our world is important to us, so all our employees get 3 every year to help social and environmental causes and increase our impact on the communities that mean the most to us.
- Wellbeing Fund: We want to encourage all employees to take charge and prioritise their own wellbeing. We've introduced our annual People Fund to support this by offering every individual a fund to support and manage their wellbeing through an activity of their choice.
- Profit Share Scheme: All employees participate in the Baringa Group Profit Share Scheme so everyone has a stake in the company's success.
