Consulting brings together multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to provide client-centric solutions for RSM's current and future clients within the middle market and beyond. Our Consulting team has a major role to play in driving forward the growth of the firm with over 1,700 people delivering almost £200m revenue.

We are looking for an ambitious Manager to join our growing Due Diligence team. Our new colleague will assist in the execution of financial due diligence assignments on both buy-side and sell-side transactions and support the team in new business generation.

Our Transaction Services team is an award-winning team highly regarded in the marketplace. The team specializes in financial due diligence, advising clients on business sales, acquisitions, and investments. Deal values are typically in the £5m to £250m range.

You will work for a variety of clients from a broad range of industries and sectors including private equity, entrepreneurs, large corporates, and banks looking to sell, acquire, invest in, or fund a variety of businesses, both in the UK and overseas.

You will make an impact by:

  1. Managing client acceptance and engagement take-on processes.
  2. Undertaking and reviewing financial analysis, interpretation of outputs.
  3. Identifying key deal issues and commercial observations.
  4. Report writing and reviewing team members' drafting.
  5. Liaising with clients, target businesses, and other professional advisors.
  6. Liaising with other service lines.
  7. Managing the delivery of the project alongside the directors and partners.
  8. Managing the development and training of the wider team.
  9. Supporting business development across the firm.

Additional Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Transaction Services / due diligence environment.
  • A high level of accuracy, diligence, and integrity.
  • Strong technical skills with a good understanding of both UK GAAP and IFRS.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A desire to assist in coaching and developing the team.
