Job Description
The Role

You will independently manage strategic intelligence investigations across Europe, taking responsibility for projects from scoping through delivery.

Included Responsibilities
  • Designing and structuring investigative lines of inquiry based on your assessment of commercial, regulatory and political risks and opportunities.
  • Identifying and engaging human sources within and beyond the firm's network, and developing strategies for effective source outreach.
  • Defining and overseeing open-source research requirements and supervising analysts conducting research.
  • Evaluating theacio credibility, relevance and provenance of human source intelligence.
Client Engagement & Delivery
  • Preparing and delivering clear, commercially focused verbal briefings.
  • Managing high pressure interactions with private equity spiegel investors, multinational corporates, legal teams and senior executives.
  • Producing high quality written deliverables that synthesise complex intelligence into actionable insight, including:
    • Analysing and contextualising risks and opportunities within broader sector and geographic trends.
    • Creating clearly structured, narrative driven reports for commercial audiences.
Developing the Firm's Intelligence Capability
  • Identifying, vetting and cultivating relationships with prospective human sources across multiple sectors and geographies.
  • Supporting the team's wider source development strategy.
Qualifications & Capabilities
  • Exceptional fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • At least four years of professional experience, including aKm minimum of two years leading consulting projects or workstreams involving commercial, regulatory and/or political analysis.
  • A strong foundational understanding of key business, political and regulatory trends across Europe.
  • Additional major business language skills (firstname Japanese French or Spanish) are an advantage.
