Typical responsibilities include:
- Delivering successful consulting engagements, addressing our clients' most pressing business challenges, and create lasting value in disciplines such as:
- Defining and Implementing C-Suite strategic agendas
- Emerging products and services
- Organisational re-design and operating model transformation
- Analytics and big data
- Core systems transformation
- Cost efficiency
- Enterprise agility.
- Solving complex, ambiguous business change and technology problems through bringing structure and rigorous analysis then planning, acting, and taking decisions with little management oversight
- Driving a rigorous and structured approach to solving business problems
- Building trusted relationships with client and Accenture teams in a dynamic and challenging environment
- Playing an active part in Accenture's thought leadership
- Through developing people, supporting the evolution of Accenture's Wealth practice and mentoring more junior colleagues
- Driving, identifying and supporting business development and sales through partnering with our leaders and key stakeholders across our practices to take the best of Accenture to our clients
- Taking accountability for developing offerings within Accenture's UK Wealth Management practice
- Playing a key role in driving the growth agenda for clients - identifying emerging trends in customers and the market, driving sales as a result
- Leading the creation of well-articulated thought leadership assets that present innovative, knowledgeable and insightful action-oriented information, guidance and recommendations on specific strategy topics to drive improved market presence in external forums
- Leading by example and contributing to performance management and recruitment activities
- Prioritising diversity and inclusion across teams and championing change, bringing added value to the business.
We are looking for candidates with the following skills:
- Wealth Management consulting experience gained within a recognized consulting firm or through an 'in-house' consulting / project development and transformation role (e.g., group strategy / corporate development) gained within a large wealth management or private banking organisation
- Knowledge and a personal viewpoint on key trends, including front-to-back operating models, emerging products and services
- Knowledge and a personal viewpoint on key trends and products, including risk and regulation, investor needs and lifecycle
- Excellent consulting and problem-solving skills with familiarity with recognized consulting frameworks and techniques
- Experience of research, quantitative analysis, structured problem solving and executive communication
- Proven track-record of building and sustaining lasting relationships with C-Suite executives of leading organizations in the sector; engaging C-suite stakeholders and encouraging bold decision making
- Operating model design and implementation experience
- An appreciation of how technology can contribute to solving clients' complex business problems; you should be comfortable operating at the intersection of business and technology
- Familiarity with at least some of the core technology platforms used in the industry (e.g. Aladdin, Charles River, FNZ, SEI, SECCL, Avaloq, Investcloud, IRESS etc.)
- Intellectual capability to think in new, innovative ways to understand complex issues and develop creative solutions
- Ability to comfortably multi-task and engage on different projects and activities concurrently in challenging and often ambiguous circumstances
- Proven presentation skills and comfortable leading large-scale, senior meetings, presentations and workshops supported by first-class written and verbal communication skills; the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical, and impactful manner
- Comfortable in managing teams and being the go-to contact for our clients' executives.
