Job DescriptionService Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of an established charity in London, which provides a range of services to adults with disabilities. We are seeking a Management Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be part of an organization that aims to improve lives and will play a key role in financial management and analysis.
Main Responsibilities- The Management Accountant will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information and analysis to support decision-making across care projects.
- Work closely with senior management to monitor the company's financial performance and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage time-sensitive processes such as budgeting, forecasting, and providing insights into financial performance.
- Monitor operational costs, identify areas for cost reduction, ensure financial controls are in place, and suggest procedural improvements based on sound judgment and experience.
- Build strong relationships with budget holders, senior managers, and Heads of Departments, providing assistance and professional advice on financial matters.
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified Accountant or Part-Qualified with extensive experience.
- Experience in a similar finance role within a charity or health & social care environment.
- Strong understanding of financial controls, budgeting, and forecasting in a multi-site environment.
- Proficient with Excel and finance packages such as Sage 200.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
