Management Accountant

About the Role:

As an Accountant reporting directly to the Director, you'll play a vital role in our Finance team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting bank reconciliations with precision
• Managing our Sage system efficiently
• Compiling quarterly management accounts for insightful analysis
• Handling customer direct debit submissions seamlessly
• Issuing sales invoices and statements accurately
• Coordinating customer credit insurance matters
• Generating detailed, timely, and accurate financial reports
• Overseeing Accounts Payable and ensuring timely payments
• Maintaining our accounting system for consistency and accuracy
• Processing monthly payroll and benefits
• Preparing and submitting VAT quarterly
• Escalating finance and accounting issues when necessary
• Upholding existing accounting systems and standards

Experience and Qualifications:

We're looking for a candidate with:

• Qualification as an Accountant or a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role (QBE, ACA, ACCA)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Prior experience with Sage Payroll
• Proven track record of implementing and enhancing systems and processes

Salary: £38,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
