Management Accountant

Job Title: Management AccountantLocation: East KentSalary Range: Circa £50,000 - £55,000 per annumCompany Overview:Our client, a reputable organisation in East Kent, is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team. As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. If you have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for driving business performance, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Analyse financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Monitor budget performance and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Provide financial advice and recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified or Finalist (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in management accounting.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and reporting standards.
