Location: Surrey

Contract: 6 month initial contract

Compensation: £65 per hour (up to £65 depending on experience)

Do you want to work for a highly motivated local authority planning team that consistently delivers a high level of service?

You will be mainly working from home, with exceptions for site visits and key meetings.

This role was created due to increased workload from local area development. The authority wants an experienced planner that can hit the ground running with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Work individually and as part of a team to maintain high service levels.
• Manage a mixed caseload of planning applications.
• Assist with a variety of urban cases currently open.
• Conduct site visits when required.

Qualifications

• Recent experience on strategic and major developments and PPA work.
• Access to own vehicle to undertake site visits.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
