Maintenance Technician

For Matachana Portugal we are currently looking for Service Technician

Matachana is a European leader in infection control and sterilization solutions, with over 63 years of experience and a growing presence in Portugal. We are looking for a Service Technician to join our team in Lisbon.

Role Mission

You will be responsible for the installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, and technical-legal servicing of Matachana's medical equipment in hospitals and clinics, ensuring performance, safety, and high customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to company standards.
• Manage technical incidents on-site, documenting actions taken.
• Support equipment installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Provide user training and basic technical support.
• Collaborate with internal teams (projects, engineering, quality).

Requirements

• Technical degree in Electromedicine, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electricity or similar.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical service or maintenance, preferably in hospital or industrial environments.
• Portuguese (native or C1 level); English or Spanish technical knowledge is a plus.
• Valid B1 driving license.
• High availability to travel: 50% in Lisbon, 50% to our clients in other regions.
