This is a new position to the business due to expansion plans, investment and an internal promotion and will have a continuous succession plan towards Maintenance Manager then on to possible Engineering Manager.
Vickerstock are working in partnership with a local family business that has grown to become one of Northern Ireland's success stories to assist them with the recruitment of a Maintenance Supervisor.

Your New Role as a Maintenance Team Lead;
- Lead and inspire the Engineering team by providing clear guidance, training, and performance management to ensure targets and KPI's are met, while offering mentorship as needed.
- Conduct regular machinery and equipment inspections to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
- Effectively communicate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to collaborative forums.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures aligned with production management to maximize equipment performance and minimize downtime, ensuring optimal machinery efficiency.
- Support factory expansion projects, including planning and executing machinery and equipment installations.
- Oversee the Maintenance department's budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost management.
What You Need to Succeed as a Maintenance Team Lead;
- A minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within the food or beverage sector.
- Strong expertise in industrial machinery, mechanical and electrical systems, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive performance and foster collaboration.
