Maintenance Systems Engineer
OverviewThe Systems engineer will be working in the ITP Aero UK Maintenance function to support the day to day running of complex machines and processing plants at the Hucknall aero engine part manufacturing facility.
Qualifications- Education: NVQ Level 3 and HNC, or equivalent, in relevant time served apprenticeship.
- Experience: High understanding of electrical, electronic systems, machine geometrics and computer numerical control systems, and a knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
- Understanding of local and regional HSE standards and regulations.
- Knowledge: Experienced in machine geometry fundamentals and able to interpret the results of Renishaw laser and Ball Bar measuring equipment.
- PLC and HMI machine interface diagnostics
- Managing asset care for operations
- Embedding new operating systems and digital upgrades
- Machine and system backups
- Electrical fault finding
- Managing machine geometric checks/adjustments and axis compensation
- Leading machine upgrade projects
- FAT/SAT for new assets
You will work at ITP Aero from its site in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire under the guidance of professionals with extensive experience in the sector in a leading company in aeronautical engines and components that ranks among the top companies in the global aeronautical industry.

Working Hours- Shifts - 37 hours per week working on the following 3 Shift Pattern:
- Afternoons: 1.48 pm - 9.30 pm Monday Thursday
- 1.48 pm - 7.00 pm Friday
Staff Grade 6-10
- 25 days annual leave (inclusive of 5 fixed days)
- 6 Leisure days - Accrued through working an additional hour per week in addition to your contracted hours.
