Job Description
Maintenance Scheduler 
The position is a Fixed Term role for 12 months, based onshore within the client's office.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain the functional maintenance schedule in line with site integration standards to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant execution of work.
- Monitor, analyse, and optimise maintenance performance to the agreed KPIs.
- Perform effective campaigning and activity nesting to minimise equipment downtime and improve overall schedule efficiency.
- Perform resource levelling in alignment with core trade availability to ensure achievable schedules.
- Assess functional activity readiness and proactively restructure work that does not meet defined readiness criteria.
- Issue and maintain the functional schedule across all planning horizons in accordance with functional readiness criteria.
- Ensure third party mobilisation data is accurately captured and maintained within the logistics management system.
- Facilitate regular reviews of functional execution efficiency with Functional Team Leads, driving performance improvement.
- Identify site and area constraints within the functional schedule at a 12 week look ahead and collaborate with the Site Integrator to manage impacts from new or conflicting work.
- Build and maintain appropriate horizontal buffers between functional activities to protect schedule integrity and execution delivery.
- Recommend and implement mitigation plans where functional or site/area constraints are exceeded.
- Establish and sustain strong working relationships with client planning and maintenance stakeholders, both onshore and offshore.
- Proactively manage deferrals and re scheduling of work to minimise operational risk and align with business priorities.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of the client's maintenance management systems, standards, and procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement across planning, scheduling, and execution processes, providing demonstrable evidence of performance improvements to the client.
- Develop the role in line with contract growth.
- A year of experience within a maintenance scheduling role in an appropriate industry.
- Good working knowledge and understanding of Maintenance, Operations, Commercial, Safety and People issues within an appropriate industry.
- Planning and scheduling experience required within a maintenance role in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Excellent computer skills with experience in use of Excel, SAP and Primavera 6.
- Appreciation of offshore maintenance practices, procedures and legislation.
- Good working knowledge of a maintenance management system (SAP preferable).
- Organisational and planning expertise.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective problem solving and analytical skills.
- A strong team player.
