The Role:

Our site in Eye, Suffolk is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join the team on a full-time basis.

Primarily your role will be to carry out maintenance, fault finding and installation work on mechanical/electrical building services and associated equipment.

While core hours will be Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm, there will be an on-call rota where you will be available 1 in every 5-6 weeks to attend any emergencies out of hours.

Job responsibilities include:

Participating as a member of an integrated maintenance team.

Maintain and fault find on a wide range of mechanical/electrical services.

Reading mechanical/electrical services drawings and schematics.

Operating, inspecting and repairing heating, pressure and commercial hot and cold domestic water systems.

Operating, inspecting and maintaining HVAC plant and associated local/BMS systems

Repairing/ fault diagnosing electrical equipment and installations in line with current regulations.

BTEC, City & Guilds recognised Apprenticeship required in Maintenance, Electrical or similar field

Requirements:

3-5 years' experience in a similar role

Must live within 45 minutes of Eye due to on-call requirement
