Job Description

The key responsibilities for the Maintenance Engineer - Nightshift role are:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment during night shifts.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
• Follow planned preventative maintenance schedules to minimise downtime.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Collaborate with the production team to address any equipment-related issues.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns to maintain productivity.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Maintenance Engineer - Nightshift worker should have:

• Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field.
• Experience in maintaining machinery within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts.
• Commitment to adhering to health and safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities.

• MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF:
• What an injection moulding machine is and does.
• Have an understanding of what Chillers, Compressors, Material Systems are.
• HVAC System Pressure.
