Maintenance Assistant

• Rate: £13.10 / 40 hours per week
• Type of Contract: Full Time
• Location: Newcastle

Taking responsibility for the general maintenance of the property, upkeep of its facilities and the management of the maintenance team. As Maintenance Assistant, you will ensure jobs are completed efficiently to meet guest expectations during their stay.

Key responsibilities:

• Proactively complete the daily job list and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Work to deadlines, liaise confidently with contractors.
• Take responsibility for health and safety.

Qualifications:

• Organized, good communicator, excellent attention to detail.
• Experience working in a maintenance department of a similar quality hotel.
• Knowledge of electrics and health and safety beneficial.
