Maintenance Assistant

Cygnet Group is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for Cygnet Ralgan House, a 25 bed high support inpatient rehabilitation service for women. The role is full time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday) and involves maintaining a safe, healthy, and dignified environment for residents.

Main Duties

• Provide comprehensive maintenance and repair services, including basic joinery, plumbing, painting, and general building work.
• Maintain plant, services, and vehicles in working order.
• Comply with safe working practices and report faulty equipment and potential hazards.
• Travel to other sites and, on occasion, be on call for emergency repairs outside normal hours.
• Check fire alarm points weekly, including fire exits, door retaining devices, and fire emergency lights.

You are

• Experienced in painting and decorating in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Willing to travel and hold a full, valid driving licence.
• Skilled at DIY and general maintenance.
• Friendly, conscientious, and an excellent team member with a positive attitude.
• Preferably holds a Level 2 Diploma in Painting & Decorating or Maintenance.
