An exciting opportunity exists for a Maintenance & Contracts Manager to join our Team at Progress Living in Lincolnshire.

We are looking for an individual to lead and manage the Caretaking and Maintenance Team in the day-to-day management of Progress Living accommodation in Lincolnshire.

Progress Living works in partnership with United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals Trust, managing units of accommodation across 3 hospital sites in the Lincolnshire area. Our contract includes extensive refurbishment and new build accommodation combined with the long-term management contract.

Your Role

To manage the Progress Living sites, caretaking team, contractors and suppliers to ensure all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance work, as well as compliance and health and safety related activities are managed and completed effectively, on-time and within budget across all Progress Living sites in Lincolnshire.

Responsible for the day-to-day management of all operational activities relating to the procurement, management and monitoring of all contractors, appointed by the Group, to undertake repairs, planned and cyclical maintenance programmes and any ad hoc projects for Progress Living.

You will ensure that all contracts are procured in line with legislation and Group policy and that budgets are managed effectively, achieving value for money and ensuring social value is delivered across all contracts.

You will ensure that all aspects of work by both the in-house team and contractors is completed to high levels of customer satisfaction, on time and within agreed budgets challenging and supporting contractors and suppliers to deliver an excellent service.

You will engage with customers and contractors, acting on their feedback, providing a proactive, forward-thinking approach to enhance current services, ensuring service level agreements are achieved and targets and performance indicators are met or exceeded and providing innovative ideas for future improvements.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a highly motivated person who is able to work on their own initiative, as well as being a team player, with strong leadership skills and technical knowledge in building studies. This is a crucial post, and the successful candidate must have excellent communication skills and enthusiasm while being committed to providing excellent customer service.

You should be confident and able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and be IT literate with experience of Microsoft systems.
