Amazon is seeking an AI Content Expert II to assist with annotations, content generation, and data analysis. As part of the Data Team, your primary responsibility will be delivering high-quality training data to enhance and expand the capabilities of Large Language Models (LLMs).
Key Responsibilities- Create and annotate high-quality complex training data across multiple modalities (text, image, video) on various topics, including technical and scientific content.
- Write grammatically correct texts in different styles, adhering strictly to provided guidelines.
- Perform audits and quality checks on tasks completed by other specialists as needed.
- Make sound judgments and logical decisions when dealing with ambiguous or incomplete information.
- Dive deep into issues and implement solutions independently.
- Identify and report tooling bugs, suggesting improvements.
As an AI Content Expert, you will create complex training data requiring informed and high-judgment decisions. You will collaborate closely with scientists and engineers to review and update guidelines, identify tooling improvements, and discuss data quality.
About the TeamThe team works onsite Monday through Friday with an eight-hour shift. We continuously seek ways to improve our capabilities and deliver the best product. Our diverse team participates in regular meetings, training sessions, and Amazon events throughout the year.
Basic Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with written language data, including annotation and data markup.
- Excellent proficiency in English (C2 level CEFR).
- Strong understanding of U.S. culture, society, and norms.
- Research skills to gather, understand, and synthesize complex information, with knowledge of academic integrity.
- Attention to detail and ability to focus for extended periods.
- Comfort with high-school level STEM topics.
- Effective writing and evaluation skills across diverse subjects.
- Adaptability to various writing styles and fast-paced environments.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Experience creating complex data for LLM training and evaluation.
- Familiarity with command line interfaces and UNIX commands.
- Knowledge of markup languages like HTML, XML, Markdown.
- Experience with text formats such as JSON, CSV, RTF.
- Basic scripting skills in Python or similar languages.
- Knowledge of regular expressions.
- Understanding of Large Language Models.
- Comfort working with sensitive content during annotation tasks.
