Machine Learning (MLOps) Engineer - Remote

Location: European Remote

Projects: AWS Migration & AI-related initiatives

Salary: $5,000 to $6,500 per month

We are seeking a Machine Learning (MLOps) Engineer to join our DataOps team at FXC Intelligence. This new and expanding team acts as a bridge between Data Platform and DevOps, supporting our AWS migration and collaborating closely with the AI team.

Responsibilities include:

1. Building and maintaining data infrastructure using DevOps and Data Engineering practices, prioritizing stakeholder needs.
2. Collaborating with Data Practitioners to understand their challenges and support their needs with engineering or data science expertise.
3. Assisting Data Scientists and ML Engineers in writing reliable code and deploying it to clients.
4. Providing tools and processes to Data Analysts and other business units.
5. Working with the DevOps team on infrastructure standards and best practices.
6. Participating in the migration of data infrastructure from on-premises to AWS.
7. Contributing to the evolution of the data stack focusing on scalability, reliability, and transparency.

About the DataOps team:

• The team acts as a vital link between the Data Platform and DevOps teams, focusing on database and ETL/ELT functionalities.
• It plays a key role in AWS migration, ensuring infrastructure efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborates with the AI team to develop and maintain machine learning pipelines for AI model deployment and management.

Ideal candidate has:

• Experience deploying, testing, and monitoring ML models.
• Knowledge of data pipelines, orchestration, and data warehousing.
• Proficiency in Python and data science libraries.
• Familiarity with ML infrastructure tools like Kubeflow, MLFlow, and neptune.ai.
• Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools such as GitHub Actions and Gitlab CI.

Additional skills (training provided):

• Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Terragrunt.

Current Tech Stack includes:

• Clickhouse, DBT, Airflow, Terraform, Helm, Gitlab CI, DVC, MLFlow/Kubeflow/Weights & Biases, AWS services like Sagemaker and Bedrock.
