M365 System Engineer (German Speaking)

We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for an M365 System Engineer (German Speaking). The role is a permanent position based in Bern Canton with some home office flexibility.

Your Role:

• Actively shape & further development a Hybrid IT Infrastructure.
• Carry out tasks in the operation of the server & client landscape (on-premise, in the Azure Cloud & via Intune).
• Further develop & operate Network Infrastructure, including Firewalls, VPNs, Switches & Wi-Fi solutions.
• Optimize Security Architecture with tools such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
• Ensure reliable backup & recovery processes.
• Participate in the area of Information Security & support the expansion of an ISMS according to ISO 27001.
• Manage technical IT Projects & take responsibility for 2nd & 3rd level support.

Your Skills:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in IT System Engineer.
• Skilled & experienced in Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure & Terraform
• A very good knowledge of Network & Security topics (Defender).
• Experienced or an interest in IT Security & ISO 27001-compliant environments.

Your Profile:

• Competed University Degree in Computer Science (or similar).
• Committed, self-motivated & solution-oriented.
• Fluent in English (spoken & written) & a very good command of German (to at least B2 level) are mandatory requirements.
